Welcome to Women of Global Mobility Inc. ("WoGM," "we," "us," or "our"). WoGM is a nonprofit organization, registered in the state of Colorado as a 501(c)(3) that connects and supports women working in global mobility. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website, membership portal (the "Portal"), events, and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who Can Use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Membership is intended for professionals in or connected to the global mobility field. We may approve, decline, or end membership in line with our bylaws and membership criteria.

Your Account

Give accurate, current information when you register and keep it updated.
Keep your login details confidential and tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without your permission.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
Do not share your account or Portal access with non-members.

Membership, Dues, and Payments

Membership dues and event fees are listed at the time of purchase. Fees are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Dues and fees are non-refundable except where stated in our membership policies or required by law. [Confirm refund and renewal policy, including whether memberships auto-renew.]
Membership dues and event fees may not be tax deductible as charitable contributions. [Confirm with your accountant. Dues paid to a 501(c)(6) may be deductible as a business expense, not a charitable gift.] Donations, if accepted, are handled under the notice provided at the time of giving.

Community Standards

WoGM is a professional, supportive community. When you use the Services, including the Portal, forums, directory, chats, and events, you agree to:

Treat others with respect and professionalism.
Not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or demean any person.
Not post unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or obscene content.
Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
Not post confidential information about your employer, clients, or other people that you do not have the right to share.
Not spam, run unauthorized advertising, or solicit members for sales or recruiting without our written permission. Job postings and sponsor promotions must follow WoGM guidelines.
Not scrape, harvest, or copy member information or directory data, or use it for purposes other than professional networking with WoGM members.
Not interfere with the security or operation of the Services, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

We may remove content, suspend access, or end membership for violations of these Terms, with or without notice, at our discretion and in line with our bylaws.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you post ("Your Content"). By posting it in the Services, you give WoGM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate and promote the Services. You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights. Content you post in member spaces may be seen by other members, so please use good judgment.

Views Expressed and No Professional Advice

Content, discussions, and resources in the Services come from members, volunteers, speakers, and sponsors. Views expressed are those of the individuals and not necessarily WoGM. Materials are for general information and networking only. They are not legal, tax, immigration, financial, or other professional advice, and you should consult a qualified professional for your situation.

Events and Recordings

By registering for or attending a WoGM event, you agree to follow our event conduct expectations. Events may be photographed or recorded and used to promote WoGM. We will tell you in advance if an event will be recorded, and you may choose not to appear on camera or share a photo. To request an accommodation or ask us not to use your image, contact us at the address below.

Our Intellectual Property

The WoGM name, logo, website design, text, graphics, and other materials we create are owned by WoGM or its licensors and protected by law. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial professional use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use the WoGM name or logo without our written permission. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, email us with a description of the work and where it appears, and we will review it.

Sponsors, Partners, and Third-Party Links

The Services may include sponsor information, partner offers, and links to third-party sites. Sponsorship does not mean WoGM endorses a product, service, or organization. We are not responsible for third-party sites, services, or content. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, WoGM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any connection, referral, or opportunity will result from your participation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WoGM and its directors, officers, volunteers, and members of its leadership team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so these limits apply only where permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless WoGM and its directors, officers, and volunteers from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access for violating these Terms or our policies, or if we end a service. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) survive termination.

Governing Law and Disputes
